Resizing Images

Postby SellBits » Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:36 pm

Some of you may be wondering how to resize your image to make it under 100k. I'm going to give you 2 ways to do this...

Online
Go to http://www.picresize.com/ and follow the online instructions. When your done resizing your image, you will be able to save it to your computer..

Microsoft Paint for Windows Users
Open Paint
Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->Paint

Then open your image
File-->Open

To Resize
Image-->Resize/Skew

Set the Horizontal and Vertical to a smaller Percent. Try switching them both to 50% instead of 100%. Then just click save and it will overwrite your previous image. To keep the original file choose "save as". Then just hover over the image and it will show you the size in kilobytes. If it's under 100k your ok. if not, you will need to shrink it again. You may need to refresh the window for the size to change.

That's it! Let us know if you need additional help.
