How do I sell an Item on SellBits and what does it cost?

If you would like to sell an item on sellbits, first you need to create an account. After you have signed up, simply click on the "SELL" tab in the top right corner and simply follow the instructions. Listing an Item only $1.00 per item. Additional fees are charged for upgraded listings. You will NEVER be charged more than $8.00 per item.

What will happen if I try and scam Sellbits.com?

Any atempt to scam Sellbits will result in being banned from our site permanently. We worked hard to offer this site for you so please don’t steal from us. After all, it only costs a buck!

Why don't you allow advertising on your site?

Our members and users don't like to be bombarded with hundreds of Ads. Therefore, we will NOT display them.

Why do you charge money instead of making it free?

First of all, it's only a $1! Second, We charge so that people are serious about selling their item. If it was free, then people would post up scams or ads which is what we don't want. If your serious about selling your item, then $1 won't kill you.

I think someone stole my identity. What do I do?

If you feel you are the victim of identity theft, please notify us immediately! Also, you should contact the 3 major credit bureaus. Visit our Security Center for more info.

I purchased an item by clicking on the buy now button but it doesn't show up on my account page. Why?

Purchased items will not show up on your account until everything is completed and the seller has clicked their sold button.

Can I add more than 8 pictures when listing an item?

Kind of...we will only host up to 8 pictures for you. However if you are familiar with HTML, then you are free to post as many as you like from other websites.

I uploaded a picture but It's not displayed. Why?

When uploading pictures, if you have to edit your posting at any time, you will need to re-upload your images. Also, make sure that the right category and bold or features options are selected as well.

Why does Sellbits.com seem to be displayed funny?

If you have not entered the 21st century and are still using browsers like IE 5/6 or Netscape then there may be issues. We recommend using Firefox or IE 7/8. It only takes a few moments to update your browser!

How long will my item be listed on Sellbits.com?

If your item was listed for free it will be displayed on Sellbits.com for 15 days. If you paid any amount, your listing will be displayed for 30 days.

Can I edit my listing?

After you list an item you can edit the listings by clicking on your "myaccount" page.

Where do I specify shipping & handling charges when listing my item?

All shipping/handling/tax prices MUST be added to the price of the item. The price that buyers see should be the total they will be paying including all additional fees. This is done so that the buyer doesn't see, for instance, a tv listed for $1 and a shipping fee of $799. We don't want our members confused or misled in any way. That scenario might fly with ebay, but that's what makes us so much better.

What items aren't allowed to be listed on Sellbits.com?

Please read our terms & conditions about prohibited items prior to listing. If you have any questions about whether or not a item can be listed, please contact us first. Listing fees will not be refunded in the event an item was removed for a violation of our terms.

What are Sellbucks?

Sellbucks is another way for us to reward users with free listings and upgrades! From time to time, we award our users with free listings so check your account often to see if you have received sellbucks.

What are Sellbits SuperStores and how do I create one?

SuperStores is a way for businesses or individuals to have their own online store. Creating an online store only takes a few moments. Simply click on "Open A Store" at the bottom of any page to begin. Upon creating your store, you will have a Store Admin link that you can click on to customize your store.
